“It was a gift from the Queen of the Elves!” -Baby Shanks
A comic inspired by our last campaign. 5e reduced the number of magic items but I went in the opposite direction. I included a ton of homebrew items with bonuses and drawbacks (some aesthetic).
I give my players a lot of magic items and use attunement and hit die costs to limit their abuse. This has given them a big toolbox to take advantage of. They legitimately surprise me when they pull out magic items they found years ago!
Have you guys been running a low magic campaign or do you like to include tons of magic items? I’ve been thinking about running a low magic campaign and I’d love to hear your opinions!
